Great story, great book and great chocolate!
What a fantastic book! It 's about two of my favorite things-Chocolate and business. Heather really speaks to you in this book as a friend. She shares so much of herself, her story and her business, at times I felt like I was there with her. I haven't tried out any of the recipes in the book yet but I have had some of her chocolate and it's delicious.

This book came to me at just the right time.
This book came to me at just the right time. As a struggling entrepreneur, I often get frustrated by authors of business books. To me, they almost never seem to understand what it’s actually like to build a business from complete scratch, without a ton of money or crazy connections to back you at launch. Not so with “From Broadway to Wall Street.” Heather Terry definitely gets it. Reading this book felt like trading war stories with a more successful peer, and I came away feeling rejuvenated and inspired.

Energy and honesty driven with passion. Read it!
Great book! Being a business owner I can relate to the essence of this book. I wish I had had it to read years ago. Love the energy and honesty too. It is not academia lecturing from a text book rather it is common sense driven with passion. If you are thinking of starting a business or in the middle of getting one going grab a copy, you will be glad you did.

Funny and Real!
I was worried that this book would be about a successful Broadway star also being successful in business. Its not. Its profoundly real story of a woman who feels like a friend. Heather shares her deepest challenges in life and makes you laugh while she does it. The chocolate is just a great added perk.

Before you get into the food business and turn your recipe/food product into a company, read this!
While there are so many fluff business books out there that provide false hope at times to women becoming entrepreneurs, From Broadway to Wall Street is an honest account of some of Heather's experience which is shared to the reader as if you're sitting at a cafe with her over a cup of coffee. This book has a level of intimacy and rawness that I have come to appreciate as well as some really tasty recipes to boot. If you're at all thinking of getting in to the food industry and creating a business around a food product you've created, you must read this book. It may very well save you from pitfalls that you'll otherwise learn about the hard way.

Honest & Insightful Read for Budding Entrepreneurs
If you're thinking about starting your own business, you must read this very honest book. "From Broadway to Wall Street" will resonate with not only any entrepreneur who has just started her own business, but also for those searching for insight into whether or not they have what it takes to become a full-fledged entrepreneur. It will question your dedication in a thought-provoking way, it will provide you with practical advice and, even through these tough issues, it will make you laugh. Heather K. Terry has no problem putting herself out there and sharing personal stories in order to guide those just starting out in their business ventures. Both funny and wise.

I picked this one up expecting "good". Instead, I got one of the most delightful reading experiences in business that I have ever had. What a wonderful surprise. Terry tries to do what most business 101 books never manage to do, explain the context of starting a business in a way that is relevant to the average person.
This book is definitely a guide for today's entrepreneur. There are lots of books written on entrepreneurship, but not many are capable of discussing the nuts and bolts of what it really takes to build and grow a business in a specific space (food). This book gives you more than tips and tools. It offers a mindset; a way of thinking. It offers many first-hand experiences, which I loved!
From cover to cover I was obsessed with this book and it was hard to put down. Not only does Heather K. Terry give amazing advice to anyone interested in entrepreneurship, but uses examples from her own career to support all her ideas. It is an enjoyable read, inspiring, while still extremely informative and useful.
I recommend this book to anyone who is serious. This isn't a book for wantrepreneurs. The advice laced throughout these pages will help any entrepreneur win at any phase.

As humans we are always looking for answers. As aspiring entrepreneurs we simply listen to other successful business owners to learn from their mistakes and from their successes. This book was a fantastic quick read, I never felt as though I was reading a book but more that I was having a conversation with Heather. It was so funny, witty, and super informative. There were moments during this read where I laughed, almost cried for her, and even jumped for joy. There are amazing recipes at the end of every chapter, that makes finishing a chapter that much more rewarding. Heather was very honest throughout the entire book which makes it a must read for any new entrepreneur. I am really looking forward to the next one.

A great investment for anyone considering a start-up adventure ...
Enjoyed this book immensely. In the spirit of full disclosure, I am blessed to know Heather and had the chance to watch her manage and grow this company over several of the years covered by this book. Heather opens our eyes to what is possible, in a way that realistically assesses the struggles, challenges, and pitfalls that entrepreneurs will see along the way. The thing I can attest to is that this book is 100% 'Non-Fiction', and speaks to the very challenges that anyone will face when suiting up for the contact-sport of running a start-up. Her insights are real, her advice is meaningful, and her recipes are terrific. The path she charts for you will work, and the land-mines she keeps you from stepping on will be invaluable. The book is interesting, helpful, and very readable. Buy it for the advice. Keep it for the recipes.
